Manufacturers ceased production of equipment using the old R410A refrigerant, necessitating the use of the new R32 refrigerant for new installations. This transition aligns with regulations set forth by the Environmental Protection Agency and the United States Department of Energy.

Formerly part of the State Select® water heater series, the new ProLine® Standard electric water heater is a reliable choice when you are looking to maximize your hot water output and is designed with environmentally-friendly insulation to reduce standby heat loss. This unit uses dual 4.5 kW elements for faster recovery and reliable operation. The lower element manufactured with Incoloy stainless steel is designed to last longer than a standard copper element.
