How the Heating Load Is Estimated
Heat transfer through walls, windows, doors,
ceilings and floors is estimated using:
Heat Loss = Area × U-Factor × ΔT
Air infiltration and ventilation losses use:
Heat Loss = 1.08 × CFM × ΔT
