When I bought my Midwa 5000 BTU Easycool AC, it was great. It kept the very cool that hot summer in 2023. Cooler weather came and it was drai Ed, dried and stored In 2024, when the weather got hot again, it was retrieved from the attic and reinstalled. Guess what? It didn’t work, just buzzed and shut off. With just a year warranty, no help. I didn’t contact anyone be ause I knew they would say the same. I’m frustrated with companies that products’ lifespan is tied to their warranty life. Still got it and don’t know why became it just sits in that over-the-stove box just taking up space. I guess, out of sight, out of mind. In February 2025, I got a more affordable and better option. I installed a vent/register with a booster fan at 1/3 the price to help bring efficient flow of air to the room
